This Supervisors in Action Workshop is the perfect workshop for new and established supervisors to attend. We have lots of activities in the afternoon after the morning is spent laying down the principles of being a supervisor.
Supervisors in Action Workshop Outline
Being a supervisor is one of the hardest positions in any organisation. It’s commonly an employees first venture into people management. So it brings with it a lot of challenges. You have to take on responsibilities that you probably haven’t experienced before. And often you may be managing people that you were working with at the same level previously.
The good news is our Supervisors in Action workshop covers all of these challenges and more. We lay down the principles of what a good supervisor acts and behaves like and help to give delegates the confidence to take the step into managing people. We explore the skills you need to develop to be successful and how to pass these on to your team.
With lots of group reflection we share delegates experiences, both positive and negative. Often the common mistakes new supervisors make give the best source of information in how to get it right. Overall, we explore strategies to be as effective as you can as quickly as possible, benefitting both the delegate and the organisation.
