Our comprehensive in-house epilepsy training course touches on all aspects of Epilepsy from the causes, how Epilepsy is diagnosed and seizure triggers to practical knowledge about first aid for the different types of seizures and some of the treatments available.
We cover how to manage risks as a health care professional, how to deal with psychological issues and effective emergency medication administration.
Delegates attending the Epilepsy Training course will leave with a clearer understanding of how common epilepsy actually is. They will also have a better knowledge of seizure recognition and the management of different types of seizures, including Status Epilepticus. We also cover how to record details effectively. And we include practical experience of how to administer First Aid during seizures to protect the individual. Our epilepsy management training for care staff is an essential course for care staff working with or responsible for people suffering from epilepsy.
