Questions you may have

Every organisation is different, so if your question isn’t answered below, just get in touch. I’d be delighted to help.

Absolutely.
Sometimes the easiest thing to do is have a conversation. Tell me what you’re trying to achieve, what’s working well and what isn’t. Together we’ll work out the best way forward. There’s no obligation and, if I don’t think learning and development is the answer, I’ll tell you.
Absolutely.
Many organisations know they need to improve something but aren’t sure where to start. We’ll look at your objectives, the people involved and the challenges you’re facing before deciding what would work best. It might be a workshop, eLearning, consultancy, project work or a combination of services. The aim is to find the right solution for your organisation, not simply recommend a course.
Yes.
Whether it’s adapting one of my existing workshops or creating something completely new, I can design workshops, eLearning, learner workbooks, manager guides and learning resources around your organisation, your values and your people.
Yes.
Workbooks, presentations, handouts and other learning resources can all be personalised with your organisation’s logo, colours and branding, creating a consistent learning experience from start to finish. As this involves additional design and preparation time, there is a small additional charge. I’ll always discuss this with you beforehand, so there are no surprises.
Yes.
If you’re looking for online learning, I can design bespoke eLearning using your branding, policies and procedures. It’s a great way of providing consistent learning that staff can complete at a time that suits them.
Absolutely.
Whether you need training materials updating, a learning programme designing, competency frameworks developing, induction resources creating or a wider learning and development project, I’d be delighted to discuss it. Project fees are agreed individually and are normally charged at a lower daily rate than training delivery.
Most workshops are delivered at your premises, but if you have a preferred venue that’s absolutely fine too. Remote sessions can also be delivered via Zoom or Microsoft Teams where appropriate.
Absolutely.
I call it the Hotch Potch, and it’s proved really popular over the years.
Anything from a short session through to a full day’s training. It really depends on what you want your team to achieve.
Yes.
Whether you employ five people or five hundred, every client receives the same level of care and attention.
Whilst much of my work is within Health and Social Care and Hospitality, many of the workshops and development services are suitable across all sectors.
Yes.
Depending on the workshop, learners may receive workbooks, handouts, practical resources or useful reference guides.
We’ll have a conversation about your objectives, who’s involved and what success looks like. That way everything reflects your organisation rather than being an off-the-shelf solution.
Every workshop is different, but I generally recommend up to 12 learners. This gives everyone the opportunity to take part, ask questions and get involved. For groups above 12, there is a small additional charge of £5 per learner to help cover the additional workbooks, learning resources and administration involved.
Yes.
Some workshops include manager guides, practical ideas and activities to help reinforce the learning back in the workplace.
Absolutely.
If you already have workshops, eLearning, induction materials, presentations or other learning resources that need updating or refreshing, I’d be happy to review them and suggest improvements.
Absolutely.
Whether you want to develop your own induction programme, create supervisor training or build a complete learning pathway, I can help design resources that your own team can deliver. Everything can be branded to reflect your organisation.
There are lots of providers out there, so it’s a fair question.

For me, it’s about understanding your organisation first. I don’t believe in delivering the same workshop to every client and hoping it fits. I want the learning to reflect your people, your values and the situations they deal with every day.

Learning should be relevant, practical and enjoyable, leaving people with the confidence to put it into practice.
We’ll have a chat about what you’re hoping to achieve and explore the options together. If I think I’m the right person to help, I’ll put together a proposal. If I don’t think I’m the best fit, I’ll tell you.

No pressure. No hard sell.
Sometimes one well-designed workshop can replace several shorter sessions. Sometimes bespoke eLearning offers better value over time. In other situations, a Train the Trainer programme can help you develop learning within your own organisation.

I’ll always look for the solution that gives you the best value, not simply the biggest invoice.
