I have been seeing a lot recently on LinkedIn about over-sharing personal ‘stuff’ on what is essentially a business platform and have noticed that it has greatly divided opinions. Some people are of the opinion that LinkedIn is not Facebook, and others saying they like to see the personal side of their connections.
I have done ‘personal’ a few times on this platform. For example, when my first Grandson was born and when my youngest son left his last job. But there was always a business point to it. So apart from those rare occasions, I keep my posts business…ish, for no other reason than….in real life I am just not that interesting. 😆 😅 🤣
But, today, here is a glimpse of what I can be like with no business anecdotes attached.
Recently my 1-year-old grandson, George, pulled this (see picture) out of my bag and it prompted a reminder of a faux pas I made a few days earlier.
I’m sure you’re familiar with it, but to use this product, you close your eyes and spray on the eyelids. Which I did, twice, as I thought I missed the first time.
As it turned out, I forgot to take my glasses off!
