🙃 I’ve tweaked the values of Emerald Training and People Development Services (Emerald TPDS)!
I first set the original Emerald Training and People Development Company Values back in 2022 when I founded Emerald TPDS. However, after reflecting on them, I decided to revisit and revise two of them. They are 🤝 ‘Collaboration’ and 💡 ‘Innovation’. These are very important parts of how Emerald TPDS operate. But I felt they might be better represented as practices or strategies rather than core values.
As the focus is on delivering flexible, training, learning and people development solutions, I replaced those two with ‘Business-Centred’ and ‘Integrity’.
✅ Business-Centred
We align our services with the unique goals and needs of each business,
delivering meaningful engagement and solid outcomes.
✅ Integrity
We uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practice, ensuring that our work reflects honesty, fairness, and respect for all.
✅ Inclusivity
We embrace diversity and promote an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute and grow.
✅ Flexibility
We know that every business is different, and we offer flexible training solutions tailored to meet individual specifications.
✅ Transparency
We believe in being transparent with our clients—from our pricing and range of services to our processes and the way we do things.
I’ve also been putting a lot of thought into the company’s structure and branding over the last two and a bit years. Whilst I know it is me, myself and I at the moment, I believe in starting as I mean to go on. This is why from the get-go, I’ve carefully branded everything. From new forms to mileage claim forms (much to the surprise of my lovely accountant!). Even mugs, pens, notebooks and my phone have the Emerald stamp on!
The goal is that when the time comes to bring someone on board, they’ll join a company with clear values, policies, and procedures in place. This will not only save time but also reassure them that they’re entering a professional company that values both its employees and its clients equally, with solid foundations to work with.
So, here’s the scary question… What do you think of the new Emerald Training and People Development Company Values?
